About this resource
This initiative provides support to single-parent families and pregnant women at risk of becoming homeless. It includes rent assistance, job services, and housing case management.
Intake Process: For more details, please call. Applications can be submitted via the website or by phone, but drop-in services are not available.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Eligible participants include single-parent families and pregnant women residing or connected (through family, school, or work) within a 9-mile radius of the resource center in cities like Black Diamond, Covington, Maple Valley, and parts of Auburn, Kent, and Renton. Multi-generational households are welcome, and applicants must have a child under 18 living at home. Those in imminent danger of homelessness can apply without an eviction notice. A background check and drug test are required, and participants must agree to engage in a stabilization program that includes financial literacy classes. There is no income requirement for application, but applicants should be able and willing to work.
