About this resource
The city of Pacific provides pet licensing for its residents, with licenses valid for one year. Seniors aged 65 and older or disabled residents can acquire a lifetime non-transferrable tag for their altered pets by paying a one-time fee.
Intake Procedure: Residents can apply by calling, completing an online application, or visiting city hall.
Fees: The cost for an altered dog is $20, while an altered cat is $12. For unaltered pets, the fee is $60. Seniors or disabled individuals can obtain a lifetime license for an altered dog at $10, an altered cat at $6, and $30 for unaltered pets. Replacement tags are available for $5.
Who can use this
- There are no restrictions; however, to qualify for the senior discount, residents must be 65 or older, and for the service animal discount, they must have documented disabilities.
