Fees: Clients may need to pay a participation fee to access services, although those enrolled in WA Apple Health (Medicaid) can receive services without any participation fee.

Who can use this

The program targets older adults and individuals with disabilities, where eligibility is determined by care needs and financial circumstances. Generally, applicants must have a monthly income below $7,304, and their countable resources (excluding their primary residence, transportation vehicle, or certain funds) must be under: $2,000 for an individual, $57,547 for a couple, and $123,600 for a couple if one partner is in a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Those exceeding resource limits may still qualify if they anticipate meeting the limits within a month of application. Additionally, clients must have unmet needs in two or more daily living activities or a cognitive impairment requiring assistance with at least one daily living activity.
