About this resource
This program provides nutrition support and educational resources for low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children under the age of five. Families can expect benefits worth approximately $150 per month for two members, and during the summer, additional vouchers for farmers markets are available.
To apply, individuals can call or fill out an online form to check eligibility and schedule an appointment. Services can be provided at home, in the office, or at other locations. Applicants will undergo a nutrition assessment to evaluate their nutritional risk. Fathers, grandparents, and other caregivers are also permitted to enroll their children in the WIC program.
There are no associated fees.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who meet or fall below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level and have a nutritional risk are eligible, including pregnant or postpartum individuals and children under five.
