About this resource

This initiative provides financial support for individuals pursuing career training who require financial aid. It particularly assists those who are recipients of Basic Food Assistance, TANF, or Unemployment Benefits.

Intake Procedure: To apply, schedule an appointment at the Counseling and Advising Center by calling or visiting in person. Applicants with an active DSHS case must receive approval from DSHS.

Fees: Participation is free for those who qualify. Additionally, child care expenses may be funded through DSHS/WorkFirst.
