About this resource
Offers food bags to anyone residing within the parish limits, which generally includes the area surrounding the University District. Occasionally, household and hygiene products are available.
Intake Process: Individuals must visit in person to receive one grocery bag. Households consisting of three or more people may be eligible for two bags. Strict hours of operation apply. Disabled adults who are homebound and live within the parish can email to arrange for grocery delivery at any time. Please note that there is no phone access; additional information can be found on the website.
Cost: Free of charge.
Who can use this
- Open to all individuals living within the designated parish boundaries, which include specific geographical markers. Residents outside the area may receive assistance on their first visit but will be directed to their local food pantry thereafter. Home delivery is exclusively for local residents with disabilities who cannot visit in person.
