About this resource
This initiative aids Washington state residents, including those with legal immigration status, by offering food assistance. The monthly benefits depend on the household size, income, and living costs. Additionally, it provides vouchers for food lost due to significant disasters.
Application Process: Interested individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter outlining the interview process. A Social Security number is required for each person listed on the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to replace food lost in the latest disaster.
Costs: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who satisfy the income, resource, and citizenship/alien status criteria, with income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
