About this resource
This initiative aids the income of residents in Washington state, including those who are legal immigrants, by offering food assistance. The amount of monthly benefits is determined by household size, income, and living expenses. Additionally, vouchers are provided to compensate for food lost during significant disasters.
Intake Procedure: To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to get an application. Once a paper or online application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter outlining the interview requirements. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for each person included in the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to qualify for replacing food lost in the latest disaster.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who fulfill income, resource, and citizenship or alien status criteria, with income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
