About this resource
This program provides support to low-income individuals enrolled in Medicare by helping them cover their premiums for Medicare Part A and Part B. Additionally, the DSHS covers co-pays and deductibles for those who qualify as very low income.
To apply, individuals can call, access the website, or visit any Community Service Office (CSO).
There are no associated fees.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who are Medicare recipients must have an income at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level for maximum assistance. For Part B premium assistance, the income limit is 135% of the Federal Poverty Level, while Part A assistance is available to individuals with disabilities earning up to 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
