Harborview Medical Center

The facility provides a variety of inpatient services, such as general medicine and surgery, the Northwest Regional Burn Center, Regional Epilepsy Center, UW Spine Center, UW Medicine Stroke Center, rehabilitation medicine, as well as coronary, neurological surgery, and trauma intensive care units.

Intake Procedure: Patients can either call or visit the facility directly.

Fees: Services are billed on a fee-for-service basis, with a charity care program available that considers the financial situation of individuals and families. The facility accepts self-pay and insurance reimbursements, including Medicare and WA Apple Health (Medicaid). The Financial Counseling Department is available to help patients with applications for public assistance programs (DSHS).
