The Regional Reduced Fare Permit (RRFP) is available for individuals aged 65 and above, as well as riders aged 6 to 64 who have disabilities or hold Medicare cards, allowing them to access reduced fares on public transit in the Puget Sound area.

To apply, call for a certification form or download the RRFP Application Form, which must be completed by a medical professional prior to registration. Seniors only need to provide proof of age, which can be submitted via mail or in person at the customer service office or King Street Center. Fees: The initial RRFP is provided at no cost, while replacements incur a fee of $3. Metro bus rides cost $1 at all times, and a monthly reduced fare pass on an ORCA RRFP card is priced at $36. Fares may differ for other transit services.
