About this resource
This program provides nutrition support and educational resources for low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children under the age of five. Families can expect benefits valued at approximately $150 each month for two members. During the summer months, participants may also receive additional vouchers for farmers markets.
Intake Process: Interested individuals should either call or fill out an online form to check eligibility and schedule an appointment. Services can be provided at home, in the office, or at off-site locations. Applicants will undergo a nutrition assessment to evaluate their nutritional risk. Fathers, grandparents, and other caregivers are also permitted to enroll their children in the WIC program.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who meet or fall below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level and have a nutritional risk are eligible, including pregnant women, postpartum parents, and children under five.
