Intake Process: To get started, call to schedule an appointment. Services can be accessed at the clinic, within the community, through phone calls, or via video. Participants in Family Ways can reach out by phone, visit the website, or self-refer.

Cost: There are no fees involved. The program only bills WA Apple Health (Medicaid) and Family Ways services are free of charge.

Who can use this

First Steps: Participants must be enrolled in or eligible for WA Apple Health (Medicaid). Nurse-Family Partnership: targets low-income pregnant individuals expecting their first child and supports them until their child is 2 years old. Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs: assists families with children aged birth to 18 who have complex health issues or newly diagnosed conditions requiring support. Family Ways: welcomes all families who self-identify as part of the three community groups (Native American/Alaska Native, Pacific Islander/Native Hawaiian, and U.S. born Black/African American) and are pregnant or parenting children up to age 5, with no income restrictions. Participants must reside in King County.
