About this resource
Provides a program for food assistance and nutrition education aimed at pregnant and postpartum individuals, along with infants and children under the age of five.
Intake Process: Interested individuals can call or fill out an online form to get information on eligibility and appointments. Services include home, office, or off-site visits. Applicants will undergo a nutrition assessment to evaluate their nutritional risk. Fathers, grandparents, and other caregivers are also welcome to register their children for WIC.
Cost: There are no fees involved.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who are at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level and face nutritional risks. Eligibility includes: Pregnant individuals, postpartum parents or those breastfeeding, and infants or children under five. Income-eligible applicants may qualify if they receive Basic Food benefits, WA Apple Health (Medicaid), or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
