About this resource
The initiative trains and places community volunteers in elementary schools with the goal of empowering young learners to develop strong literacy abilities. Volunteers provide one-on-one assistance to students, helping to accelerate their learning progress.
Intake Procedure: Students in the participating schools may receive referrals from their teachers.
Fees: There are no fees associated with the program.
Who can use this
- Provides one-on-one support to K-4th grade students whose literacy skills lag behind grade-level benchmarks by one month to two and a half years.
