The initiative trains and assigns community volunteers to elementary schools, aiming to enhance young students' literacy abilities. Volunteers provide personalized assistance to help boost students' learning rates.
Intake Procedure: Teachers at the participating schools can refer students for assistance.
Fees: There are no fees associated with the program.
Who can use this
- Provides one-on-one support to K-4th grade students whose literacy skills lag behind grade level by one month to two and a half years.
