About this resource
This program offers immediate crisis stabilization, assessment, and treatment for emotionally disturbed children, working closely with their families. Emergency referrals are welcome.
Intake Process: Admissions occur following an evaluation in an emergency department. Community providers may contact the Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Unit intake line for inquiries. Families are not permitted to self-refer for inpatient services.
Costs: The program accepts WA Apple Health (Medicaid), private insurance, self-pay options, and contracts. Financial assistance is available for uninsured families. All inpatient admissions must demonstrate medical necessity and obtain prior authorization.

- Aims to assist children aged 4 to 17 who are facing complex psychiatric challenges.
