This initiative ensures the safe disposal of "sharps" (syringes, needles, and lancets) by providing services such as the removal of sharps from public spaces within 24 hours and placing secure disposal boxes at six locations throughout the city.

Intake Procedure: Residents discovering a syringe on public property (including sidewalks, parking strips, streets, other public rights-of-way, or city facility grounds) should contact the Illegal Dumping Hotline.
