About this resource
This initiative provides essential home repair services like plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry to homeowners of any age with incomes below 80% of the Area Median Income. Additionally, it constructs wheelchair ramps and installs handrails. The service area includes specific cities in King County.
Intake Process: Interested individuals can contact via email or voicemail. Applications are accepted through email or traditional mail, and a request can be made to receive a mailed application with a return envelope.
Costs: There are no fees associated with the service. While donations are appreciated, they are not mandatory. However, if a community member prefers to install their own fixtures, such as faucets, that can be accommodated.
Who can use this
- Homeowners of any age with low to moderate income living in Seattle, Shoreline, Bellevue, Black Diamond, Maple Valley, Enumclaw, Pacific, Algona, Normandy Park, and unincorporated South King County, with income not exceeding 80% of the Area Median Income.
