This program seeks and evaluates families who wish to adopt children under the care of the Department of Children, Youth, and Families.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call, and the intake line will accept collect calls.
Fees: There are no associated costs.
Who can use this
- There are no limitations for general adoption, while for Special Needs Adoption, families must have a child under 18 who is legally free, has special needs, and is either in state-funded foster care or eligible for federal adoption assistance.
