About this resource
This program offers one-time financial support for overdue utility or rent payments to residents of West Seattle and White Center, excluding Burien, and also provides limited assistance for move-in costs.
Intake Procedure: Individuals should call and leave a message between the 1st and 7th of each month, as the hotline is unavailable for calls outside this timeframe. Callbacks are made throughout the month to discuss eligibility, and at least three attempts are made to reach each caller, with responses given in the order they were received.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.
Who can use this
- Applicants must reside in Seattle or White Center (unincorporated King County) within specific ZIP codes: 98106, 98116, 98126, 98136, and parts of *98146, and must be facing an emergency or hardship. Burien residents are not eligible, and applicants must have a source of income. For move-in cost assistance, housing must be secured with only the initial deposit remaining as a barrier.
