About this resource
This program provides temporary financial aid and housing assistance to veterans and their families who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of losing their homes. To qualify, veterans must have served at least one day of active duty and must not have a dishonorable discharge.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call for a screening or participate in a scheduled screening event.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.
Who can use this
- To be eligible, veterans need to have at least one day of active duty service beyond basic and advanced training, a discharge status other than dishonorable or related to felony misconduct, and must meet the program's low-income criteria (at or below 50% of the Area Median Income). The program also supports those who have been married to a veteran and have recently lost their spouse within the last year.
