Who can use this
- To qualify, individuals must be classified as incapacitated by DSHS due to mental health issues, physical disabilities, or participation in a chemical dependency treatment program that restricts their ability to work, and they must have no income or be enrolled in the ABD (Aged, Blind and Disabled) program. DSHS will assess earned income and assets to ensure they fall below the income level guidelines. Certain government income programs, like SSI, SSDI, and TANF, are not eligible. Services are prioritized for those who are homeless or at risk of losing their housing once approved by DSHS.
