This program assists with essential needs like emergency transport, funerals, medical/dental expenses, food, rent, education, utilities, disaster relief, and necessary vehicle repairs for active duty and retired Sailors, Marines, and their families.
Intake Process: Service members or qualified family members facing an emergency should reach out to the closest NMCRS office and schedule an appointment with an NMCRS caseworker.
Costs: There are no fees associated with this assistance.
Who can use this
- Active duty and retired Navy and Marine Corps members, their eligible family members, and certain other individuals including indigent mothers of deceased service members and un-remarried former spouses.
