Fees: Participants may need to pay a participation fee for services, although those enrolled in WA Apple Health (Medicaid) may qualify for services without incurring this fee.

Who can use this

The program is designed for older adults and individuals with disabilities, with eligibility based on care requirements and financial circumstances. Generally, the applicant's monthly income must be under $7,304, and countable resources (excluding the home they live in, a car for transportation, or certain funds) must not exceed: $2,000 for an individual, $57,547 for a couple, or $123,600 for a couple if one partner is in a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Applicants whose resources are above the limit may still qualify if they anticipate meeting the limit within a month of applying. Additionally, the applicant must have an unmet need for help with two or more daily living activities or have a cognitive impairment requiring assistance with at least one daily living activity.
