Who can use this

Monthly Payments are available for widows or widowers aged 60 or older (or 50 if disabled), any age caring for the deceased's child under 16 or disabled, unmarried children under 18 (or up to 19 if full-time students), disabled individuals over 18 whose disability started before age 22, stepchildren, grandchildren, or adopted children in specific situations, and parents over 62 who relied on the deceased for at least half of their support. A one-time payment is available for the spouse living in the same household as the worker, or for children if no spouse survives.
