United Way Of Lewis County
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative, in collaboration with Women United, Visiting Nurses Foundation, and various community partners, allows participants to choose up to five pieces of professional attire for job interviews or the initial weeks of employment.
Intake Procedure: To obtain clothing, participants must secure a voucher from one of the community partners and use it at any of the Visiting Nurses Thrift Stores. The partners that provide vouchers include Cascade Community Healthcare, Reliable Enterprises, Express Employment, Hope Alliance, WorkSource Lewis County, and the Housing Resource Center. Donations of gently used professional clothing can be made at the Visiting Nurses Thrift Stores during regular hours. Additionally, promoting this program is encouraged, and businesses are invited to help by sharing information about the Women United Career Closet and facilitating donations. For inquiries about becoming a business partner, please reach out to Angela French at Development@LewisCountyUW.com.
Fees: There are no fees associated.
