Who can use this

The program is designed for older adults and individuals with disabilities, with eligibility based on both care needs and financial circumstances. Generally, the applicant's monthly income should be under $7,304, and countable resources must not exceed: $2,000 for a single adult, $57,547 for a couple, or $123,600 for a couple if one is in a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Those above the resource limit may still qualify if they anticipate meeting the limit within a month of applying. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate an unmet need for help with two or more daily living activities or have a cognitive impairment requiring assistance with at least one daily living activity.
