Okanogan County Transportation And Nutrition (Octn)
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative offers meal services and delivery for seniors aged 60 and above across Chelan, Douglas, Lincoln, and Okanogan counties.
Intake Procedure: In Chelan and Grant Counties, a 24-hour notice is necessary; however, Okanogan and Lincoln counties do not require reservations. Seniors must complete a Participation Information Form when they first receive meals at senior centers. For those receiving meals at home, a nutrition staff member must conduct an assessment within two weeks of the first meal delivery. For additional details, please call.
Fees: Seniors aged 60 and older are encouraged to make a suggested donation of $5 per meal. Individuals younger than 60 can participate at the senior meal sites but are required to pay the full meal cost of $12.00.
Who can use this
- Individuals aged 60 and older have no restrictions for meals at the meal site, while home-delivered meals are available only to seniors who are homebound and unable to prepare their own meals.
