About this resource
The program helps boost the income of residents in Washington state, including those who are legal immigrants, by offering food benefits. The monthly benefit amounts depend on the household size, income, and living costs. Additionally, it provides vouchers to compensate for food lost during significant disasters.
Application Process: To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter detailing the interview process. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for each person listed on the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to qualify for replacing food lost in the latest disaster.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.

- Residents of Washington state who fulfill requirements related to income, resources, and citizenship or immigration status, with income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
