The initiative supports homeless youth in achieving educational success by arranging transportation to their previous school or helping them enroll in a nearby school without unnecessary delays.
Intake Procedure: Consult with a counselor at the student's local school or reach out to the district's homeless liaison.
Fees: There are no associated costs.
Who can use this
- Eligible individuals include families or unaccompanied minors who do not have a stable and adequate nighttime residence, such as: - Sharing housing temporarily - Residing in motels or campgrounds due to lack of options - Using non-traditional sleeping locations - Staying in emergency shelters or transitional housing - Waiting for foster care placement.
