Who can use this

The program targets older adults and people with disabilities, with eligibility based on care requirements and financial status. Generally, applicants must have a monthly income below $7,304 and countable resources (excluding their primary residence and transportation vehicle) under: $2,000 for an individual, $57,547 for a couple, or $123,600 if one partner is in a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Those exceeding resource limits may still qualify if they anticipate meeting the criteria within a month of application. Applicants must demonstrate an unmet need for help with at least two daily living activities or have a cognitive impairment requiring assistance with at least one daily living activity.
