About this resource
This program aids Washington state residents, including legal immigrants, by offering food benefits to enhance their income. The amount of monthly benefits is determined by the household size, income level, and living expenses. Additionally, vouchers are issued to compensate for food lost during significant disasters.
Application Process: Interested individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, a letter will be sent outlining the interview process. Applicants must provide a Social Security number for all individuals listed on the application. To replace food lost in the latest disaster, applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who fulfill income, resource, and citizenship or alien status criteria, with income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
