About this resource
This program offers support services to homeless families and students, including unaccompanied youth, to assist them in remaining in school.
Intake Procedure: Contact the Homeless Liaison at (360) 875-6041. If there is no response, kindly leave your phone number in a voicemail.
Fees: There are no charges for these services.
Who can use this
- According to the McKinney-Vento Homeless Act, families or students are considered homeless and eligible for specific rights if they are: * residing in a shelter, motel, vehicle, or campground * living on the streets, in a 24-hour restaurant, or at a bus station * displaced by natural or manmade disasters (like floods or fires) * staying in a motel, abandoned building, trailer, or other unsuitable living conditions * living with friends or relatives due to lack of affordable housing * 'couch surfing' * teenagers living independently.
