It is recommended that patients arrive for their intake appointment while experiencing withdrawal symptoms, though this requirement may be waived for those being discharged from detox, transferring from another facility, or who are pregnant.

- Individuals seeking Methadone treatment must be at least 18 years old and have had an opioid addiction or dependence for at least one year prior to treatment, including those with co-occurring disorders.
