About this resource
This program offers inpatient involuntary psychiatric treatment for individuals suffering from mental illness who have engaged in criminal behavior, with admissions occurring either for observation or through a commitment for being criminally insane. Mental health evaluations are conducted to fulfill court requirements.

Fees: For detailed fee information, please contact us. The Office of Financial Recovery (OFR) handles billing for Medicare, WA Apple Health (Medicaid), and private insurance.
Who can use this
- Adults aged 18 and older facing felony or misdemeanor charges who are court-committed for competency evaluations or restoration are eligible, including those found not guilty by reason of insanity and receiving treatment until deemed safe for release.
