About this resource
This service offers on-demand transportation along Highway 16 in Gig Harbor, featuring vans that can accommodate both wheelchairs and bicycles. Vehicles are able to pick up and drop off passengers wherever a car can access, including in parking lots and pull-outs.
Booking Process: Trips can be scheduled through the RUNNER App. For those who do not have a smartphone, trips can be arranged by calling 253.581.8000 and selecting option 4.
Fare Structure: The cost is $2 for adults, $1 for individuals with a Regional Reduced Fare Permit, and free for riders aged 18 and under who possess a Youth ORCA card. Cash payments are not accepted. Riders can pay using an All Day Pass, a valid ORCA Card, or the Transit Ticketing app.
Who can use this
- The service is available to everyone as long as their pick-up and/or drop-off points fall within the designated service area.
