About this resource
This service provides on-demand transportation for individuals to access community resources, appointments, schools, workplaces, and transit hubs located within the Spanaway RUNNER zone. All trips must start and end within this designated area. Reservations can be made through the RUNNER app or by phone.
Intake Procedure: Users can book their trips via the RUNNER app available on smartphones, while those without smartphones can make reservations by calling.
Fees: The fares align with the standard Pierce Transit bus rates: $2 for adults, $1 for holders of the Regional Reduced Fare Permit, and youth aged 18 and under can ride for free (an ORCA Card is required). Cash payments are not accepted; passengers should present their ORCA card, a Valid Day Pass, or utilize the app for payment.
