About this resource
This program offers nutrition assessments, education, and vouchers for nutritious foods to pregnant and post-partum women, infants, and children under the age of 5. Each participant receives WIC checks valued at around $50 per month.
To apply, you need to call to determine eligibility and schedule an appointment.
There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who meet or fall below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level and have a nutrition risk are eligible. This includes: pregnant individuals, postpartum parents, breastfeeding or chestfeeding parents, and infants or children under 5. Those receiving Basic Food benefits, WA Apple Health (Medicaid), or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) qualify based on income.
