This program offers a universal home nursing and visiting service that delivers preventative health and educational resources aimed at ensuring a healthy baby. It is available to women who have given birth at Tacoma General within the last 12 weeks and reside in the areas of 98499, 98408, and 98444.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals can reach out by phone or through the website. Registration for Baby Lounges is done online.
Fees: There are no charges for this service.
Who can use this
- This service is available for families living in Pierce County, including biological, foster, adoptive parents, and kinship caregivers, with visits allowed up to 12 weeks after the baby is discharged from the hospital.
