About this resource
This program offers intake assessments for individuals and families facing homelessness and connects them to transitional housing or financial aid for permanent housing.
Intake Process: After scheduling an appointment with a housing specialist through a call, online application, or visiting a drop-in location, participants will undergo a screening. STEP 1 Screening - During the initial interaction, a Specialist will assess eligibility for Coordinated Entry. STEP 2 Diversion Conversation - When a household is set for a discussion, they must provide an income statement. Further steps will be outlined during this meeting.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.
Who can use this
- Eligible households must be literally homeless, with the Head of Household being over 24 years old. Qualifying situations include living in a shelter, on the streets, in a vehicle, or in a non-profit paid motel, while couch surfing or staying with friends or family does not qualify.
