Pierce County Auditor

This service offers a site for residents of Pierce County to apply for U.S. Passports and get their photographs taken. It also supplies forms for renewal or amendments that residents can fill out and send in. Appointments can be scheduled online for in-person visits.

Intake Procedure: To begin, schedule an appointment online. First-time applicants must present a valid driver's license along with a certified copy of their birth certificate or an existing U.S. Passport. Naturalized citizens need to bring their Certificate of Citizenship. Photocopies or hospital-issued certificates will not be accepted. Valid ID cards are acceptable if accompanied by five or more additional forms of identification.

Fees: There are two payments involved; one check or money order for the passport fee and another payment (check, money order, cash, or credit/debit) for the agent fee and photos. The fees for Passport Services are as follows: Adults (16 years and older) - $130, Children - $100 for the passport book; Adults (16 and older) - $30, Children - $15 for the passport card; Agent Fee (per application) - $35; Color photos - $12 per set.
