About this resource
This program provides clean and sober accommodations for homeless families with children. Families residing here benefit from case management and various programs aimed at transitioning them from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
Intake Process: Contact the main number of the Rescue Mission and request Tyler Family Housing.
Costs: Rent is set at 30% of the family's income.
Who can use this
- Families experiencing homelessness with at least one child are eligible, provided they meet low-income criteria. The campus is drug and alcohol-free, and applicants must engage in programming that includes case management, career support, and classes aimed at achieving self-sufficiency. Additionally, at least one adult must have a history of substance addiction and participate in a weekly recovery support group.
