About this resource
This program provides vouchers for rental assistance to homeless veterans, along with case management and clinical services. Referrals to the Tacoma Housing Authority (THA) are made through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Intake Procedure: To find out about eligibility requirements, reach out to the local Department of Veterans Affairs. Applications and referrals are processed through the VA. Once an application is submitted to THA, applicants will meet with a Housing Specialist for a briefing prior to receiving their voucher.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Applicants need to comply with Tacoma Housing Authority's criminal history guidelines and must be referred by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
