This initiative partners with low-income families to construct and own affordable, decent housing in safe areas. The entire process spans 12 to 24 months and necessitates obtaining a mortgage through a lender certified by FDIC/WADFI.

Who can use this
- Applicants must have lived or worked in Pierce County for a minimum of 12 months, demonstrate a housing need, have an income at or below 80% of Average Median Income (AMI), be able to secure a mortgage, pay a $1,000 earnest money deposit, complete 100 hours of sweat equity, and maintain open communication with Habitat staff.
