About this resource
This initiative provides Environmental Modifications and Critical Home Repairs, where homeowners collaborate on projects by assisting with the labor when able and contributing a minimum of $100 towards the repair expenses. For more information regarding types of repairs and income limits, please refer to the details. Enrollment in the program can be done online.

Fees: There are various associated costs.
Who can use this
- Applicants for critical home repairs through the Aging in Place program must be Pierce County residents, homeowners aged 60 or older or disabled veterans, current on mortgage and taxes, willing to contribute labor and funds, with an income below 80% of the Area Median Income and a home value under $530,000.
