The program evaluates the requirements of individuals who are blind or have low vision to enhance their independence by providing training in adaptive skills and suggesting suitable adaptive devices. It primarily assists those who are not looking for work. The service area includes Pierce and southwest King County.

Who can use this
- To be eligible for the Independent Living Program, you must be at least 24 years old and experiencing vision loss or blindness that affects your ability to live independently, with a focus on individuals who are not employed or pursuing education.
