Emergency grants are available to assist low-income member households with their winter heating expenses.

Application Process: Applications can be submitted online.

Cost: There are no fees associated with the application.

Who can use this

  • Applicants must have been active members of the Cooperative for at least four months before applying for assistance. Project PAL is supported by voluntary contributions from members, which include rounding up electric bills to the nearest dollar and one-time or ongoing donations. To qualify, a family's income must not exceed 200% of the federal poverty guidelines for the application year.
