Who can use this

The program prioritizes the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities, with eligibility based on care requirements and financial circumstances. Generally, applicants must have a monthly income below $7,304 and countable resources not exceeding $2,000 for individuals, $57,547 for couples, or $123,600 for couples when one partner is in a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Those exceeding the resource limit may still qualify if they anticipate meeting it within a month. Applicants must also demonstrate an unmet need for assistance with at least two daily living activities or have a cognitive impairment requiring help with one.
