About this resource
This program is responsible for recruiting, training, licensing, and supervising foster homes, ensuring that children of all ages who have faced abuse and neglect are placed in safe environments.

Fees: Foster parents receive financial reimbursement for the children they care for, and Youthnet is funded by DCYF for these placements. There are no fees associated with becoming a foster parent.
Who can use this
- To be eligible, individuals must be at least 21 years old, meet income criteria, pass a state background check, and submit an application with various documents, while children are referred by the state.
